Our Commitment

NIGA University is committed to making its website accessible to all users, including people with disabilities. Accessibility is an extension of the University's founding purpose: an institution dedicated to the public good should be usable by every member of the public.

Standards

This site is designed and maintained with the goal of conforming to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These guidelines describe how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, motor, and cognitive disabilities.

Ongoing Work

Accessibility is a continuing effort rather than a fixed state. As the site grows, the University reviews new pages and features against its accessibility standards and works to correct shortcomings as they are identified.

Accommodations for Students

Students with disabilities are entitled to reasonable accommodations in their studies. Prospective and enrolled students are encouraged to contact Student Services to discuss accommodations and the support available to them.

Reporting a Barrier

If you encounter a part of this site that is difficult to use, or that does not work with assistive technology, the University wants to know. Please describe the problem and the page on which it occurred, and contact the University using the details below. Reports are used to prioritize improvements.

Contact

Accessibility questions and reports may be directed to the University through its general contact page, or by telephone at +505 2278 4400, Monday to Friday, 8:00–17:00 (UTC−6).
