Alumni

The first generation.

NIGA's alumni community begins with its founding class — a lifelong network being built from the first day.

A Beginning

Founding students, founding alumni.

NIGA University has no alumni yet — and that is precisely what makes this page a beginning rather than an archive. The students who enter in August 2026 will become, in time, the University's first graduates and its founding alumni. The traditions of the NIGA alumni community are not inherited; they are about to be written.

This page describes the alumni association as it is being designed — a lifelong community that will connect NIGA's graduates to one another and to the University, wherever their work in public service takes them. Friends of the University and prospective students are welcome to follow its progress.

The Alumni Association

What the community will offer.

Network

A Lifelong Network

Connection to fellow graduates across ministries, agencies, and institutions in Nicaragua and beyond.

Mentorship

Pairing alumni with current students entering the fields and institutions they have come to know.

Community

Regional Chapters

Gatherings organized by city and by field, beginning wherever NIGA's graduates settle.

A Network for Public Life

An education at NIGA does not end at graduation. The University intends its alumni community to be a working network — of public servants, scholars, and professionals who continue to learn from one another across a lifetime of service.
