In an emergency.
In any emergency that threatens life, health, or safety, contact the national emergency services first by calling 911. Once you are safe — or if the situation is not life-threatening — notify NIGA Campus Safety so that the University can respond and provide assistance.
If you are on a NIGA campus, follow the instructions of University staff and emergency personnel. Take time in advance to learn the marked exits of the buildings you use and the assembly points identified on each campus.
Emergency notifications.
In a campus emergency, the University communicates with students, faculty, and staff through University email, text message, and this website. All members of the University community are asked to keep their contact information current with the Office of the Registrar so that they can be reached quickly.
